AI Adoption & Public Trust
Empowering People to Shape the Future of AI
ABOUT ME
I'm a writer, consumer advocate, and executive advisor working at the intersection of AI, data privacy, and public trust. With decades of leadership experience across the technology industry in the US and Europe, and ongoing advisory roles with state and local education systems, I help institutions and senior leaders navigate AI adoption with a human-first approach. I partner with leaders who recognize that technological progress succeeds only when the people affected feel respected, informed, and included. And I encourage users to understand their individual power over the future of technological innovation.
BOOKS
AI is already shaping how children learn, study, and interact with the world—and many families and caregivers of K–12 students feel unsure about how to guide children safely through this new reality. AI for Families is a practical, reassuring guide for anyone responsible for a child who wants to understand artificial intelligence without becoming a technical expert or sacrificing personal values.

CONSULTING
I work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data privacy, and public trust—helping institutions and communities navigate how AI is adopted, understood, and governed in real-world environments. My work focuses on "the adoption layer" of AI: the trust, participation, and institutional alignment required for innovation to scale. Technologies do not succeed on technical capability alone; they succeed when people understand them, trust them, and see themselves as participants in shaping their future. At the core of my work is a simple conviction that AI does not exist apart from people. Its long-term success depends on public confidence, institutional integrity, and leadership willing to engage meaningfully with the communities technology is meant to serve.

MEDIA AND EVENTS
For nearly two decades I've worked with the media to put technology into everyday context. But I also spend an equal amount of time actually talking to the communities and consumers experiencing the change that technological change brings.
